How it presents

Prarie Pride Natural Fruits · 7 trees · no juice recorded yet

Disease: Resistant to scab and cedar apple rust; susceptible to mildew and fire blight. The scab resistance is worth something west of the Cascades, where scab is the main disease and fire blight is absent.

Sharply acidic at picking and mellows in storage, keeping to roughly April. Compact and semi-tip bearing. A parent of Idared (Jonathan x Wagener) and possibly of Northern Spy. Identification of the Prarie Pride trees rests on the CiderPilot variety list, the September ripening and the planting pattern; confirm on fruit character and keeping quality.
